Human Rights Day Drive

Each year, more than 100 girls between the ages of six and 18 leave home and are forced to fend for themselves on the streets of Cape Town. They do it to escape physical abuse and neglect or because their families cannot afford to support them.

In recognition of Human Rights’ Day on 21 March, we’ll once again be highlighting the incredible work Ons Plek and its dedicated staff are doing to help these vulnerable young girls by providing food, education and a home for them.

For the month of March, we’ll be collecting the following much-needed toiletries at our Roeland Street store:

  • Soap
  • Shampoo
  • Sanitary towels
  • Deodorants
  • Face wash
  • Face cloths
  • Moisturiser

Last year, thanks to the generosity of our wonderful customers, we donated four bags of toiletries to Ons Plek for the girls it supports. We’re hoping that with you help, we can do even better this year.

All donations will be delivered directly to Ons Plek so that they can distribute the items among their family.
