Next month we will be launching our first study session, A Study in Pattern Making. These exciting events (there are lots to come) aim to create a brand new space for people to exchange ideas, learn new skills and meet like-minded individuals – all in the relaxed environment of our store.
What can you look forward to with A Study in Pattern Making?
This two-week course, aimed at beginners, will equip you with the skills you need to make a basic summer shift pattern. We’ll show you how to draft the pattern (tailored to your own measurements), which you’ll then use to cut a garment from your chosen fabric.
The class fee includes a ‘study kit’, which you’ll need each week and is yours to keep, as well as bubbles and sweet treats to enjoy while you’re getting creative.
Thursday 9 & 16 March 2017
69 Roeland Street, Cape Town
R200 for both classes
*For a nominal added fee, the MM team will make up your garment and deliver it to the store for collection. The cost of the fabric is not included in the fee. Fabric must be sourced and brought along to the second class.
Keen to join us? Space is very limited, so please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org by 1 March 2017 to secure your spot.
